"Lezginka" choreographic school - studio summed up the results

On 27 September 2024, in an atmosphere of lively anticipation and pride, a general meeting of the staff of the ‘Lezginka’ Choreographic School - Studio, a structural unit of the State Academic Honoured Dance Ensemble of Dagestan ‘Lezginka’, was held. ⠀ During the meeting, the results of the participation of the ensemble ‘Lezginka’ in the Children's Festivals in Kazan and Moscow were summarised. With great enthusiasm Dzhambulat Magomedov spoke about the bright performances of the young dancers and their triumphant success. He noted that the children demonstrated not only high skill but also sincere love for dance, which left an unforgettable impression on the audience. ⠀ Plans for the 2024 - 2025 academic year were outlined and pressing issues of the Lezginka Choreographic School-Studio were discussed, including participation in prestigious international competitions and festivals. ⠀ There are also plans to participate in new creative projects and performances in different parts of the country. ⠀ Welcoming the team, Dzhambulat Magomedov noted that during the difficult period in the country, the team feels the boundless support of the country's leadership. ⠀ Despite the hardest time for the country's economy, the largest rehearsal centre ‘House of Dance’ has been built, excellent conditions have been created for the students of the studio, although there are still problems to be eliminated. ⠀ ‘Special words of gratitude to the Head of the Republic of Dagestan Sergei Alimovich Melikov for his constant support of the ensemble ‘Lezginka’ and the Choreographic School-Studio ‘Lezginka’, it is thanks to Sergei Alimovich's personal initiative that the children have had the opportunity to take part in prestigious international festivals. ⠀ The International Children's Forum in Moscow, in which our young dancers took part, united many children's creative teams from all over the country. The objectives of such events are to spread the ideas of peaceful coexistence and strengthen cultural values among the younger generation. ⠀ In his address to the staff of the school-studio, Dzhambulat Musayevich emphasised the importance of fostering the spirit of patriotism and civic responsibility in the younger generation. He also noted that participation in international festivals has an important educational value, allowing children to learn more about the culture of other nations and feel unity with the world. ⠀ In the solemn part of the event, Dzhambulat Musayevich presented personalised certificates to the young talents who were awarded to the participants of the International Children's Forum in Moscow! These awards were a confirmation of their talent and hard work. ⠀ ‘I am very happy for our children who have honourably represented Dagestan on the international stage,’ said Dzhambulat Magomedov. ‘Their talent and perseverance is a real gift for our country.’ ⠀ At the end of the event, Dzhambulat Magomedov, Artistic Director of the ‘Lezginka’ ensemble, member of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Dagestan, member of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Dagestan, Co-Chairman of the People's Front, Honoured Art Worker of the Russian Federation, thanked the team for their productive work and expressed confidence that the team will continue in its best traditions to engage in educational work and teach choreography to the younger generation.
