About the ensemble

Since its foundation, 83 honored artists of the Republic of Dagestan have worked in the collective <br>

18 People's Artists of the Republic of Dagestan, 5 Honored Artists of Russia, 1 Honored Artist of the Soviet Union, 1 Honored Art Worker of Russia and 2 People's Artists of Russia.<br>

D.M. Magomedov preserved the multinational composition of the ensemble, where the beauty of Dagestani folklore is sung not only by 33 nationalities of Dagestan and the North Caucasus, but also by native Russian Dagestanis.<br>

No other ensemble on the planet has analogues of such a multinational structure. D.M. Magomedov has clearly demonstrated by his activity that representatives of many nationalities are able to fruitfully unite their efforts for constructive and creative purposes.
